We coach students to improve a little every day, building confidence and capability over time.

Ultimately, our measure of success is not what happens on campus, but what happens after graduation. Students earn national certifications, get hired in their field, and build stable, meaningful careers. The best version of that story is when our graduates become leaders in their industries and come back to hire the next generation of NCC students. That cycle of student success turning into community impact is what drives us.

Northwest Career College began as a massage therapy school, so healthcare education has been at our core from day one. Over time, we expanded into programs that are both high demand and high impact for students. Our strongest and most popular offerings today include Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, and Medical Billing and Coding. These programs have a long track record of helping students earn certifications and step into meaningful healthcare careers quickly.

We are also excited about newer programs that open the door to higher wages and long-term growth. Information Technology is a major focus for us as the economy continues to shift. We have also recently launched a Radiography Technician program, which has already shown strong early success and meets a critical workforce need in our community.

Overall, our key offerings reflect a simple goal. Provide practical, career-focused education across multiple pathways so more students can find a fit, graduate, and serve Southern Nevada’s needs.

We have a team of more than ten professionals dedicated to placement and long-term career success. That level of investment creates real momentum for students as they move into the workforce.

Our academic advisors work alongside students throughout their program, and our Education Department continually studies what is working in higher education so we can keep improving how we teach, support, and engage learners. Northwest Career College is expanding its reach by broadening the variety of programs we offer to match the full range of needs in our community. Historically, our student population was primarily female, largely because our program mix was centered on healthcare. Over the last five years, we have intentionally added programs in areas like business, criminal justice, and information technology. As a result, we are seeing interest grow across a wider cross-section of students, and our demographics are becoming more balanced.

Looking ahead, we plan to keep building on that momentum. Over the next five years, our goal is to offer pathways that serve all types of learners and career goals. We want students in Southern Nevada to feel that if they are looking for a practical, career-focused college option, there is something here for them at Northwest.
