Our company specializes in addressing industrial emissions. Presently, we have approximately 70 Valkyrie(Streamline Innovation’s VALKYRIE® technology) plants in operation, and our team consists of about 110 employees, with our headquarters based in San Antonio, Texas.

Our technology is highly differentiated, enabling us to offer clients an optimized solution for managing their gas and water treatment needs. We focus primarily on hydrogen sulfide, a particularly challenging contaminant. Our technology allows clients to transition from traditional chemical treatments, which require disposal, to a more sustainable solution that utilizes regenerative chemistry. This process produces elemental sulfur, a harmless mineral. By adopting our solution, clients benefit not only from cost savings but also from a significant reduction in waste production, all while receiving a higher standard of service. Our offering is unique in that we provide a comprehensive, turnkey solution—clients hand us their problems, and we deliver the solution. We manage everything from plant construction to operations and maintenance, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer. These factors collectively differentiate us from other available market solutions.

We initially focused on the oil and gas sector, which remains a core part of our business, particularly here in Texas. However, two years ago, we expanded into the renewable natural gas market, serving sectors such as landfills and dairy farms engaged in methane capture. We’ve successfully deployed several plants in this space. Following the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in the United States, there has been a surge of activity in carbon sequestration, and many of these projects require hydrogen sulfide treatment, which plays directly into our expertise. Additionally, we provide water treatment solutions, partnering with distribution channels to serve municipal and industrial markets. While hydrogen sulfide is our primary focus, it is a ubiquitous contaminant. Nearly 40% of natural gas globally contains hydrogen sulfide, and one-third of industrial processes also face the same challenge. Virtually every municipal wastewater system in the world deals with hydrogen sulfide as well. Our technology can address this widespread issue, and while we are currently focused on the U.S. market, we see considerable opportunities for global expansion in the future.

We are constantly advancing our technology. Our journey began with designing standardized plants for various applications, and we have now developed ten distinct plant variants tailored to oil and gas, industrial, and other sectors. In parallel, we continually refine our chemistries to improve the efficiency and performance of our systems in the field. Beyond chemical advancements, we have expanded into other areas, such as combining our hydrogen sulfide treatment technology with amine plants for CO₂ removal at four of our sites. We are also exploring solutions for additional contaminants that share similarities with hydrogen sulfide but differ chemically. A notable development is a plant we are launching soon, which will treat both hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. We’ve also seen significant innovation in automation and process control, which allow for greater efficiency in operations. Modern technologies enable us to achieve remarkable autonomy in plant operations, allowing them to adjust to varying conditions in real time. This automation is crucial to maintaining reliable, continuous service.

One of our primary advantages is the efficiency and compactness of our technology. Our plants require far less physical space compared to traditional treatment systems, allowing for greater flexibility in installation. Additionally, we eliminate the need for large quantities of hazardous chemicals, which are typically used in conventional systems, and this leads to a significant reduction in waste production. Our technology also provides clients with improved uptime. Many industrial systems suffer operational downtime, which can lead to flare emissions or production interruptions. Our plants offer a much higher level of operational continuity, which has a substantial impact on both environmental outcomes and client profitability. Another important advantage is our turnkey service model. We assume full responsibility for plant operation, from installation to ongoing maintenance, ensuring a high-touch, hands-on approach for our clients. Our team is in frequent communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively. This personalized approach fosters long-term relationships and positions us as an integral partner in our clients’ operations.

We are always open to forming partnerships with companies that are part of the broader gas processing value chain, such as those involved in compression or other types of gas treatment. We believe that collaboration with other industry players can accelerate our growth and broaden the scope of services we can offer. Currently, we have a strong presence in the U.S. market, but as we look to the future, we see significant potential for international expansion. Companies with established infrastructure in new regions could be valuable partners in helping us deploy our technology in those markets.

I would also emphasize that we are addressing a critical gap by providing sustainable, efficient solutions for industries that operate in challenging environments. Whether in oil and gas, industrial processes, or municipal water treatment, our technology plays a vital role in helping these sectors improve their operations. While we may not be directly involved in the traditional “green tech” space, such as wind energy or battery storage, we are still making a meaningful impact by offering cleaner, more effective solutions for heavy industries that are critical to the global economy.

In the coming years, I anticipate significant growth. Currently, we have around 70 plants deployed, but we expect that number to increase considerably as we expand into new markets, particularly in renewable natural gas and carbon sequestration. Our core market remains the U.S., but we are also exploring opportunities in regions such as the Middle East, where our technology can make a substantial impact. In five years, I envision Streamline Innovations being a key player in several international markets, with a much broader footprint and an even greater ability to drive sustainability.
